4 easy steps to get a tree planted in your front yard boulevard!

Planting List

We will do our best to accommodate your request, however please note that some trees are not available during certain times of the year due to restricted stock.

Large Trees:

  • Northern Red Oak (strong, long-living, rusty red fall leafs)
  • Northwood Maple (sugar and red maple cross, great colour in fall)
  • Silver Maple (great colour in fall, fast growing)
  • Basswood (great form, reliable)
  • Ash (moderate-fast growing, may be susceptible to Emerald Ash Bore)
  • Northwest Poplar (fast growing, drought resistant, won't sucker)
  • American Elm (vase-like form, may be susceptible to Dutch Elm Disease)

Medium Trees:

  • Bur Oak (strong straight stem, long living)
  • Discovery Elm (fast growing, resistant to Dutch Elm Disease)
  • Little Leaf Linden (full tree, great track record in Thunder Bay)

Small Trees:

  • Amur Maple (great colour in fall)
  • Japanese Tree Lilac (tree version of its shrub cousin, flowers in the spring)
  • Spring Snow Crabapple (fruitless and has white/pink flowers in spring)
  • Amur Chokecherry (flowers in spring, copper-orange bark)
